About the game
Step Dungeon is a turn-based dungeon crawl with no dice at all. Every time you move one tile, every enemy moves too, and before it does, it shows you its plan: a white arrow where it will step, or red tiles with a damage number where it will strike. Damage is always the same, so each turn is a small, readable puzzle.
The red tiles hit whatever stands on them, including other monsters, so you can lure a Ram Bot into blasting a Slime for you. Ten floors bring slimes, bolt bots, ram bots, exploding blobs and sentinels, with the Slime King waiting on floor 10. Pick up potions, bombs, freeze charms and swords along the way, and hold up to three.
