About the game
Twin Blaster is a neon arena shooter played with two thumbs. Drag on the left half of the screen to fly your ship and on the right half to aim; it fires on its own while your aim thumb is down, and a simple hold aims at the nearest enemy. Waves of glowing shapes pour in through portals: squares that chase you, triangles that line up and dash, circles that split in two and hexagons that shoot back.
The twist is paint. Every enemy leaves a sticky trail behind it, and standing in paint slows you to a crawl. Your bullets wipe away any paint they fly over, so sometimes the smartest shot is at the floor to open an escape route. After each wave you pick one of three upgrades, such as rapid fire, spread shot or paint-proof boots.
