About the game
Word Ladder is an English word puzzle. You start at the bottom with one word and must reach the goal word at the top, changing exactly one letter per step, and every step has to be a real English word. Pip the little bird hops up a rung each time, and letters that already match the goal glow green.
What makes it tricky is the padlocks. On many ladders one or two letters are locked and can never change, so the obvious route is blocked and you have to find a clever detour. The 40 ladders start with four-letter words and move on to five, each with a par you can beat for three stars, and a new daily ladder arrives every day.
