About the game
Word Chain is the classic word game against a line of twenty-five cheeky rivals. Each word has to begin with the last letter of the word before it, nobody may repeat a word, and the turn timer gets shorter the longer the chain runs. Run out of time or get stuck and you lose a heart. Three hearts each.
The twist is the rare letters. End a word with X or Z and you score a bonus, your rival's clock drops to sixty percent, and they now need a word that starts with that tricky letter. Very few exist, so it is a trap. The later rivals know a lot more words and set the same traps for you. The word list is a curated set of about two thousand family-friendly English words, so the words stay in English in every language.
