About the game
Food Web is a puzzle about who eats whom. Each habitat, from a sunny meadow to a rocky seashore, shows plants, bugs and animals on round tokens. Drag from a food to the animal that eats it and an arrow appears, pointing the way energy flows, just like the diagrams in a science book. Hold a species to see which partners light up. When every animal has its meals, press TEST.
That is where the twist comes in. Storm clouds hang over some species, and the test plays each storm in turn. The species under the cloud vanishes, every animal that lost its last meal leaves too, and that can starve the next eater up the chain. Links that saved someone glow gold, so you can see what holds the web together. You only have a few arrows, so place backup meals where they matter.
