About the game
Hookshot Temple is a turn-based puzzle set in a jungle ruin. Kit the fox steps tile by tile and fires a hookshot in a straight line. Every time Kit acts, the temple answers: blue beetles crawl one step closer and stone tortoises plod along their patrol routes.
The hook always pulls the lighter side. Golden rings and heavy stone tortoises are anchors, so the hook yanks Kit across chasms to them. A tortoise is an anchor that walks, so sometimes you wait for it to line up. Gems, keys, crates and beetles are light, so they fly to Kit instead, and anything dragged over a pit drops in. Beetles vanish, while crates fill the hole and become new floor. Twenty-four rooms add locked doors, pressure plates and gates. Stars come from reaching the stairs, collecting every gem and taking no hits. Undo is free and a hint shows the next good move.
