About the game
Light & Shadow is a two-colour logic puzzle. Every cell of the grid must become either light or shadow, and cells of the same colour that touch side by side join into one area. The rule is short: each area must hold exactly one number, and that number tells exactly how many cells the area has. Numbers start out already coloured, so a light 4 needs a light area of four cells around it, while its shadow neighbours have their own sizes to reach. Because the two colours press against each other, every choice for one colour shapes the other.
The twist is that areas close with a glow. The moment an area is sealed off at exactly the right size, it brightens like sunlight or deepens like night, and a soft chime confirms it. An area that grows too large or swallows two numbers flickers red. Thirty puzzles grow from 4x4 to 6x6, each with a single answer. Hints fix a wrong cell or settle the cell with the most clues around it.
