About the game
Magic Star is a calm number puzzle about balance. Each level is a figure drawn in starlight: a simple cross, triangles with six or nine points, and five, six and seven pointed stars. Put the gold number coins on the empty points so that every straight line adds up to the same magic sum. A bubble at the end of each line shows its total as you work, and a line turns green as soon as it is right.
Some coins are made of stone and cannot be moved, which makes each figure a real puzzle with a single answer. From level six the magic sum is hidden behind a question mark, so you have to work it out from the totals yourself. On the stars every point belongs to exactly two lines, which is a strong clue. You have three hearts per level, a wrong CHECK costs one, and a hint costs a star.
