About the game
Melt Lick is a cheerful reflex game set on a seaside boardwalk. A puppy in a straw hat sits on a bench with a big ice cream cone, and the sun is doing its best to melt it. Drips form around the scoop and slide down the waffle cone towards the puppy's paw. Turn the cone one side at a time and lick the side that faces you to slurp the drips up. Lick enough of them and the whole scoop is gone.
The catch is the warmth of the tongue. Every lick warms that side of the scoop: it glows, steams and starts dripping again sooner and faster, and it cools down only slowly. Licking the same spot over and over, or licking where nothing is dripping, builds a fountain that bursts as soon as you turn away. Twenty levels bring new flavours, more sides to the scoop, sides hidden behind it that only the little radar shows, and a sun that beams down on a random side.
