About the game
Storm Chaser puts you behind the wheel of a small weather van, with a dog at the wheel and a dish on the roof, out on the open plains. A tornado is crossing the fields and science needs measurements from as close as possible. Drive up the road, tap DROP to leave a sensor pod on the ground, and the closer the funnel is, the better the reading: weak, good, great or a perfect bullseye.
The tornado never stands still. Its base sways back and forth along the road, sometimes in two rhythms at once, and inside the dashed ring it drags the van toward the core. The trick is the funnel itself: the top leans the way the base is about to go, so a careful chaser reads the lean before moving in. Later storms throw debris, pull harder and roll in at night with lightning. Fill the data quota and escape to clear a storm.
