About the game
Odds Pick is a probability game set at a night-time fairground. A raccoon in a top hat runs the prize booth, and every round puts two or three games of chance on the counter: a gumball machine with a few gold balls, a prize wheel with gold slices, a die with gold faces, or a row of coins that must all land on the star. You pick the one most likely to win a prize, and your pick is played once for a real plush prize.
Then comes the part that makes it click: every game is played 100 times in fast motion and each try drops a dot onto a ten-by-ten board, so seven gold balls out of eight really does fill most of the board. Later booths bring traps where more gold means a worse chance, equal chances written in different ways, uneven wheels, three-way picks and coin flips.
