About the game
Tailor Shop is a calm packing puzzle in a cosy sewing workshop. Every order, a vest for a bear or a jacket for a fox, comes as a handful of pattern pieces. Lay them all on the fabric roll, keep the layout as short as possible, and press CUT to watch the garment get sewn and delivered. The gold line on the roll marks the perfect length with no waste at all.
The twist comes from real tailoring. Woven cloth has a grain: its threads run down the roll, and every pattern piece carries an arrow that must run the same way. That means a piece can be turned upside down but never sideways, and a sideways piece simply refuses to go down. A few orders use stretchy knit, which has no grain, so any turn is allowed and you can feel how much freedom the grain takes away. Every order is built from a perfect layout, so a no-waste solution always exists.
