About the game
Beat Kitchen is a rhythm game set behind a cosy kitchen counter. An animal chef in a tall white hat cooks a dish for the guest at the hatch, and every move is part of the song: tool tokens slide along the ticket rail, and tapping as they reach the ring chops the carrot, stirs the soup or flips the pancake.
The twist is that every tool keeps its own beat. The knife chops on every beat, the spoon stirs on beats one and three, the whisk rattles four quick notes, the pan swings a three-three-two pattern and the salt shaker lands on the off-beats. When the recipe switches tools, the rhythm switches too, and lids mean hands off. Twenty-four recipes add tools one by one, then speed up and switch more often. Keep the dish meter from burning out to serve the dish, and aim for clean, accurate taps to earn three stars.
