About the game
Counterweight is a gentle physics puzzle about a raccoon engineer, a toy trebuchet and a farm full of hungry pigs. Each level puts a basket somewhere on the field, behind a stone wall, on top of a wooden tower or tucked under a barn roof, and you have a handful of pumpkins to land one inside.
You never aim directly. Instead you tune three parts of the machine: a heavier counterweight throws faster, a longer arm throws faster and higher, and a longer sling lets go later for a flatter shot. Every part also shifts the point where the pumpkin leaves the sling, so the machine never behaves quite the way you expect until you test it. The release point is shown while you tune, your last arcs stay on screen and the sliders remember your last setting, so each miss tells you something. Twenty-four levels add walls, wind and two baskets at once.
