About the game
Balloon Duel is a bouncy arena brawler in the sky. Pip the hamster floats on two balloons and flaps to rise. Rival critters pump up their own balloons on floating islands, take off and try to get above you. The rule is simple: whoever lands on the other's balloons from above pops one. A rival with no balloons drifts down on a parachute, and if you bump it before it pumps a new one, it is out for good. Fly too low and the big fish in the lake leaps up for a snack.
The twist is what happens after the first pop. With one balloon left you become lighter and faster, with stronger flaps and a speed trail, which makes it easier to chase and dodge. But one more pop and you drop. Rivals follow the same rule, so a one-balloon rival is quick but fragile. Twenty-four stages mix island layouts with calm green, sly blue and fierce red rivals, and each awards stars for clearing, losing at most one life and a flawless fast run.
