Controls
Drag- Drag anywhere to move the badger toward your finger. The spiked ball hangs on a chain and is only pulled along, so to swing it you move the badger in circles.
- The ring around the badger shows the ball's speed: once it glows yellow, a hit smashes a normal robot; slow hits just clank and push robots back. Armored grey robots need a very fast hit, shown when the ring glows orange.
- Big robots take two hits, small wheeled robots are fast. Robots walk toward the badger, and each one that bumps into it costs a heart.
- A robot standing close to you, inside the swing, is safe from the ball, so step away to bring it into range. Survive every wave to save the garden.
- Three hearts: finish with all three for three stars.
About the game
Flail Spin is a frantic little action game built entirely on momentum. A stubborn badger guards its vegetable garden with the only weapon it could find: a heavy spiked ball on a chain. Waves of clanking robots march in from every side, and the badger has to keep them away from the flowerbeds.
The catch is that you never control the ball. You only move the badger, and the ball is dragged behind it on its chain, so swinging it means running in circles. The faster you circle, the faster the ball flies and the harder it hits, and a ring around the badger glows yellow and then orange to show when a hit will smash a robot or even break through armour. But speed has a cost: a fast-spinning ball swings in wide, slow-to-turn loops, and a robot that slips inside your swing is completely safe from it until you step back and let the ball come around again. Big robots need two hits, quick little wheeled robots dart in from the edges, and armoured ones shrug off anything but a blistering swing. Fifteen gardens bring longer and denser waves.
