Controls
TapDrag- Drag a crate from the yard onto the truck; it drops to the lowest spot in that range.
- The weight number is the crate's weight and the shield number is how much weight it can carry; the ▼ number on a loaded crate is the weight now resting on it, split by how much each crate touches.
- A crate must sit flat on full support, and nothing may rise above the red height line.
- Tap a crate on the truck with nothing on top to unload it.
- Load every crate with no crate carrying more than its shield number.
About the game
Crate Crush is a stacking puzzle about loading a delivery truck. Every crate in the yard carries two numbers: its own weight, and its strength, the most weight it can bear on top before it caves in. Some crates are sturdy, some are hollow boxes that can carry nothing at all, and the truck bed is only so wide and so tall, so every crate has to go somewhere. Drop a crate on the truck and it slides down to the lowest spot it can reach, and every loaded crate shows the weight currently resting on it.
The twist is width. Crates are one, two or three cells wide, and a crate must sit flat on full support with nothing hanging over air. A narrow crate may be strong, but it cannot hold up a wide one alone; you need two or three crates of matching height side by side, and a wide crate then spreads its load across all of them in proportion to how much each one touches. That makes the order of stacking matter as much as the numbers. Thirty loads grow from four crates on a small bed to a dozen on a long trailer with less spare strength. Unload, undo and hints are always there; stars come from solving without hints.
