About the game
Election Trail is a bite-sized campaign strategy game. A little country of twelve hex regions goes to the polls at the end of the campaign, and every region has its own vote count and its own taste: cities love ads, farms want to see you in person, ports are good for fundraising. Each day you get three hours and a war chest. Drive your bus, hold rallies where you stand, buy ads that spill into the neighbouring regions, and keep the money coming in, while the rival bus works the map every night.
The twist is that the polls are never quite right. Every number on the map wobbles a little each morning, and the ± shows how far off it might be, so a region at 52% can still slip away. Spend on a proper poll when a big region looks close. Scandal cards pop up too, each with a safe answer and a gamble. Twenty-five campaigns grow from short, friendly races to thirty-day battles with noisy polls.
