About the game
Space Trader is a relaxed trading game about one small cargo ship and sixty busy days. Each of the eight planets has its own economy: farm worlds sell food cheaply, mining worlds want water, the luxury city pays a fortune for gems. You buy low, fly the route, sell high, take delivery contracts and spend your profits on a bigger hold, faster engines, shields and lasers for the pirate fights along the way.
The markets react to you. Every unit you buy pushes the price up and every unit you sell pushes it down, so flooding one planet with sixty crates of gems will crash it, and it only recovers slowly. The trade panel draws the price curve before you commit. Finish the career with the highest net worth to climb the ranks from Drifter to Tycoon, or try the daily galaxy.
