About the game
Isle Settlers is a pocket trading-and-building race on a hex island. Every turn you roll two dice, and every land tile with that number pays wood, brick, sheep, wheat or ore to the villages around it. Spend cards on roads, new villages and cities, swap with the bank at four for one or offer a deal to your two rivals, and be the first to reach the island's star goal. The longest road is worth two extra stars.
The twist lives in the water. Instead of a robber in the middle of the island, a sea monster circles the coast. When a 7 is rolled, big hands lose half, and the roller may swim the monster up to three coast tiles. The shores it touches stop producing and it snatches a card from a neighbour. Six isles climb from gentle rivals to sharp ones, each with three stars.
