About the game
Liquid Layers is a calm colour-sorting puzzle. Tap a tube, then tap another, and the top layer pours across. Keep pouring until every tube holds a single colour. There are no timers and no fail screens: undo as often as you like, ask for a hint when you are stuck, and aim to finish near par for three stars.
What makes it different is density. The glossy layers marked with a droplet are oils, and oil always floats. Water you pour into a tube slides underneath its oil and lands on the water below, while oil only stacks on matching oil. So an oil layer works like a lid, and the order of your pours reshapes every stack. The 40 levels start with plain water and bring in more oils and colours as you go.
