About the game

Metro Lines is a calm but tense puzzle about running a city's subway. Stations pop up around the map as circles, triangles and squares. Little passengers appear at each station, each wanting to reach a station of a certain shape. Drag between stations to draw a line, and a train starts shuttling along it, picking people up and dropping them off, even changing lines at shared stations.

The city keeps growing, so lines have to be redrawn and extended. Every week you pick an upgrade: a new line, a bigger train or more tunnels. The twist is the river: any line that crosses water uses up a tunnel, and you only have a few, so where you cross matters. If too many people crowd a station for too long, the subway shuts down and your score is the number of passengers you delivered.
