About the game
Ring Fork Bridge is a two-player connection game on a hexagonal lotus pond. You and an animal rival take turns dropping one stone on any free pad. Stones never move, and you win the moment one of your groups does any one of three things: closes a ring around at least one pad, forks out to touch three different shores, or bridges two of the six lotus corners.
Having three goals is what makes every turn tense. A wall that stops a bridge can leave room for a ring, and the stone you use to block a fork might be the one your rival needed you to spend. The board marks every pad where either side would win next turn, and the goal cards show how close each of you is. An owl teaches one goal per pond in the first three ponds, then six rivals take over across 24 ponds on bigger boards.
