About the game
Saddle Archery puts you in the saddle as a fox archer at a summer riding festival. Gallop down the course past straw targets on posts, tall poles, swinging arches and sliding rails, and shoot each one from horseback. Hit them all, waste as few arrows as you can, and cross the finish line with the best time.
The catch is the horse itself. Every stride lifts and drops your bow, so an arrow loosed on the way up flies high and one loosed on the way down drops low. Watch the stride gauge beside the rider and let go at the top, when the horse floats for a moment. Hurdle jumps give you one long, steady shot. Faster gaits save seconds but kick harder.
