About the game
Snake Numbers is a calm logic puzzle in a sunny garden. Every snake is exactly five cells long and counted from its head: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Stone blocks with arrows tell you the first snake number they can see in that direction, or 0 if they see none. Snakes are shy, so two snakes never lie side by side.
The special rule is about manners: a snake may not stare at another snake's body. Whatever lies straight ahead of a head must be empty grass up to a stone or the edge. The game draws each snake's line of sight, so a rude stare shows up in red at once. The 25 puzzles grow from a tiny 4 by 4 garden with one snake to 7 by 7 temples with five, and every one has exactly one answer that can be found by reasoning.
