About the game
Straight Loop is a calm logic puzzle set in a night garden. Your job is to hang one string of lights: a single closed loop that runs from dot to dot, never crosses itself and passes through every paper lantern on the grid. The loop does not have to visit every dot, only every lantern.
The lanterns are what make it tick. From each lantern the loop leaves in two directions, and the two straight runs, counted until the loop turns, must be exactly the same length. A number on a lantern says how long both runs are. So one lantern pins down the loop in two directions at once, and the trick is finding where those runs must turn. Arms glow green when they match and red when they can never work. There are 25 puzzles, from a tiny 4 by 4 to tricky 6 by 6 gardens, each with exactly one solution. Stars reward solving without hints.
