About the game
Sun Racer is a cross-country race for solar cars. You drive a little orange racer with a fox at the wheel, and two rival teams line up beside you on roads through farmland, desert, the coast and snowy mountain passes. Hold to drive and let go to coast.
The twist is the weather. In sunshine your panel powers the motor, so the car hits top speed and the battery stays topped up. Under a cloud or inside a tunnel the motor runs on the battery alone, drains it fast and cannot go much faster anyway, so the smart move is to speed through the sun and coast in the shade. Run the battery flat and the motor cuts out until it recovers. Twenty races add drifting clouds, hills and tunnels. Win for a star, never run flat for another and beat the gold time for the third.
