TapDrag- Tap an animal in the tray, then tap a square to place it. Each animal watches squares in its own way: the eagle along all eight straight and diagonal lines, the rhino along straight lines, the lizard along diagonals, the frog with L-shaped jumps, and the turtle on the eight squares around it.
- Lines stop at rocks and at other animals, so placing one animal in front of another cuts its view. Watched squares turn green and lines of sight are drawn; empty squares nobody watches glow red.
- Rocks and squares with animals on them need no watching. Place every animal with no red squares left to win.
- Tap a placed animal to pick it up again. HINT places one animal correctly and locks it.
- Solve without hints in few moves for three stars.
About the game
Guard All is a calm logic puzzle in the family of chess domination problems, where the question is not how pieces capture but which squares they can see. Here the pieces are meadow animals keeping watch over their field: an eagle that sees along every straight and diagonal line, a charging rhino that looks straight ahead, a lizard that scans the diagonals, a frog that jumps in little L shapes, and a careful turtle that only watches the squares right around it.
Each meadow gives you a handful of animals and a field dotted with rocks, and every empty square must be watched by somebody. The trick is that lines of sight are blocked, both by rocks and by the animals themselves. An eagle in the middle of the field looks powerful until a rhino sits next to it and cuts one of its lines in half, so where you put each animal changes what every other animal can see. Watched squares glow green and every line of sight is drawn on the board, so you can see blocked lines at a glance, and squares nobody watches pulse red. Each puzzle was built from a real arrangement and checked by a solver to have only one or two answers. Eighteen meadows grow from a 4 by 4 warm-up to 7 by 7 fields with five animals.
