About the game

Jelly Count is a game of quick estimation. A glass jar full of round jellies appears for a few seconds while a pink bar runs down, then the jar hides behind a question mark. Four numbers appear below, and you tap the one closest to how many jellies there really were. Pick right and the next jar arrives; three wrong picks and the round is over. The jar is shown again after each answer so you can check yourself.

The twist is that the game teaches you to count in groups instead of one by one. On early levels the jellies settle in colour bands of exactly ten, so you learn to count bands rather than sweets. Later the colours are mixed, and the SPLIT button draws a cross over the jar so you can count one quarter and multiply by four. Thirty levels grow from jars of eight to thirty jellies up to a hundred and fifty, with shorter looks and answer choices that sit closer together, so rough guessing stops being enough. The hint button reminds you of the trick for the current jar.
