About the game
Laser Grid is a rhythm dodger on a five by five board. Ten turrets line the edges, and on every beat some of them mark a row or column with red stripes and countdown pips before firing. Step out of the way in time and you are safe; get caught three times and your little robot is fried.
The twist is the battery. Pick one up and you can turn the danger around: the next laser that hits you bounces straight back and destroys its turret, and that lane goes quiet for good. A stage is only cleared once all ten turrets are gone, so sooner or later you have to step into the beam on purpose. Each new stage is faster, starting at 92 BPM.
