About the game

Lens Focus is a sunny optics puzzle about bending light. A fox inventor has built a long wooden bench with a brass sun catcher at one end, and a bear at the other end is waiting for the campfire. Slide glass lenses along the rail until the sunbeam squeezes into one bright point right on the kindling, then hold it there until the fire catches. Later the sun goes down, a magic lantern comes out, and you focus a little tulip picture onto a screen for the audience.

Every ray of light is drawn live, so you can watch the focus point glide along the bench as you move a lens. Convex lenses gather light and concave lenses spread it, boards with a pinhole only let a focused beam through, and the lantern picture can be sharp in two places, one big and one small, with a frame telling you which one the audience wants. Twenty-four levels, three stars for keeping plenty of daylight.
