About the game
Lock Pick is a quiet timing puzzle about how pin tumbler locks really work. Inside each lock is a row of pins, a short brass key pin under a steel driver pin, pushed down by a spring. The plug only turns when every gap between them sits exactly on the glowing shear line. You hold a pin to lift it with the pick, and let go at the right moment to set it with a click.
The twist is that the pins must be set in an order you cannot see. With tension on the lock, only one pin binds: it feels stiff, lifts slowly and scrapes, while every other pin is loose and simply springs back. Set the stiff one and the next pin starts to bind. Lift a binding pin past the line and it jams, bending your pick and dropping every pin. Later locks have more pins, narrower windows and a tension timer.
