About the game
Melody Maker is ear training that feels like a toy. A little bird sings a short tune. Listen as often as you like, then tap the colourful grid to rebuild it, one note per beat, higher notes higher up, and press check.
The check is the twist: it plays your melody back and marks every note as it sounds. Green is right, orange with an arrow means the timing is right but the pitch is too high or too low, blue with an arrow means the pitch is right but the note is a step early or late, red is a note that should not be there, and a dashed column marks a missing note. Thirty levels grow from three notes with hints to eight-note tunes. Free Play lets you write and loop your own songs.
