About the game

Nanro Numbers is a cozy take on the classic Nanro puzzle. The board is split into regions by thick walls. In each region you light some of the cells, at least one, and every lit cell shows the number of lit cells in its own region. A few numbers are printed from the start, and their region must end up with exactly that many lit cells. Three more rules hold the whole board together: all lit cells must form one connected group, no 2x2 square may be fully lit, and two equal numbers may never sit side by side across a region wall.

The twist is that you never type a number. Lit cells glow like embers in a stove, and their numbers update live as you light or darken cells in the region, so the count rule is always right in front of you. Mistakes glow red right away: a split group, a full 2x2 block, twin numbers touching through a wall, or a printed number that can no longer be reached. Thirty puzzles grow from 5x5 to 8x8, and every one has a single answer.
