About the game
Sumplete Cut is a tidy arithmetic puzzle. The board is a square of numbers, and at the end of every row and every column sits a target. Your job is to cut away some of the numbers so that what remains in each row, and in each column, adds up to exactly its target. Every puzzle has one single answer, and you can always reach it by reasoning, no guessing needed.
The twist is how each cut feels. A snipped number is crossed out and tiny paper scraps tumble off the board, and every target carries a live gauge: it glows blue when the line is still under, orange when it is over, shows the exact difference, and turns green the moment it matches. Circle the numbers you are sure to keep so you do not cut them by accident. Early boards are small and friendly, later ones grow to 7x7 and bring in negative numbers, where cutting a number can make a total go up.
