Tap
  1. Tap one of your blue pieces, then a glowing square next to it (pieces step one square in any direction).
  2. After your move, the piece you moved captures: EQUAL, an enemy right beside it with the same number; SUM, an enemy beside it whose number equals your moved piece plus another of your pieces also touching that enemy; MULTIPLE, an enemy in a straight open line whose number is your number times the distance.
  3. A yellow dot means the move captures something, and badges show what.
  4. The enemy captures the same way.
  5. Capture the target number of pieces or step onto the top row to win; stars by how few pieces you lose.

About the game

Number Siege is a small strategy battle inspired by the old idea of a war fought with numbers. Two armies of wooden discs face each other across an eight by seven board, every disc carrying a number. Pieces only step one square at a time, but they capture at a distance and in teams, so the board is full of invisible lines of danger. Put a 3 next to their 3 and it is gone. Slide your 2 beside their 5 while your 3 is already touching it and the pair adds up to a capture. Line your 2 up four squares from their 8 with nothing in between and you take it from across the board.

The twist is that teamwork cuts both ways. A row of small numbers looks harmless, yet any two of them can add up to something big, and the computer is just as happy to set those traps for you. Every legal move shows a preview badge for what it would capture, so you can plan without arithmetic panic, but you still have to see what their reply will be. And because stepping onto the far row wins outright, nobody can simply hide at the back. Eighteen battles bring larger armies, bigger numbers and generals who think further ahead.
