About the game
Paint Mixer is a calm colour puzzle set in a sunny studio. A cat painter has a picture on the easel, and you mix the exact shade in the bowl one drop at a time. Two drops of red and one of yellow make a warm red-orange; add white and it turns to coral. The match meter tells you how close you are, and a painter's colour wheel marks the target and your current mix, with a light and dark bar underneath, so every drop teaches you a little colour theory.
The twist is efficiency. Every painting has a smallest recipe, and squeezing more drops than that dims your stars. You can rinse the bowl, but spent paint stays spent, and when the tubes run dry the painting is lost. The 25 paintings start with simple secondary colours and move on to tints, shades and five-tube browns.
