Controls

TapDragHold
  1. Press and hold, then drag: the raider runs toward your finger.
  2. Cross the midline, touch defenders to tag them and come back over the line before the breath bar above your raider empties; each tagged defender is a point if you get home.
  3. Letting go on their side ends the raid, and so does being grabbed by two defenders at once, or by one when you are almost out of breath.
  4. Score the target over six raids.

About the game

Raid Breath is a quick sports game inspired by kabaddi, the tag game played across South Asia. Your raider waits at the midline while the rival team spreads out in their half. Each raid you cross over, brush past as many defenders as you dare, and race back to your side; every defender you touched counts as a point, but only if you make it home. The defenders close in as a group: two of them hunt you directly while the others slide in to cut off your way back.

The twist is breath. In kabaddi the raider must keep chanting on one breath for the whole raid, and here that means your finger: it has to stay pressed from the moment you cross until you are safely back, because it is also what steers. Letting go on their side means you breathed, and the raid is lost. Running flat out burns breath faster than easing along, and when the bar runs low you slow down and a single defender can bring you down, so every extra tag is a gamble against the bar. Eighteen matches bring more defenders, faster chasers and smarter blocking. Stars come from beating the target by a margin.
