About the game
Rally Stage is a time trial through narrow forest roads, first on loose gravel and later on slippery snow. Your car keeps its foot down on its own; you hold the arrow pads to steer and the BRAKE pad to slow down. Run wide and you plough into the verge, run wider and you hit the trees.
The trees also hide every bend until you are almost in it. That is why your co-driver calls pace notes. A card slides in a few seconds before each corner with its direction, a number from 1 (hairpin) to 6 (flat out) and the distance to go. If the card turns red, you are still too fast for that corner, so brake now. Twenty-five stages, gold, silver and bronze times, and the snow stages grip far less.
