A hamster in a tiny space pod with no engine has to cross asteroid fields to reach the dock. Every seed it fires pushes the pod the other way, so you shoot behind you to fly and ahead of you to fight and brake.

About the game
Recoil Ship is a little space shooter where your gun is also your engine. A hamster pilot sits in a round pod that has no thruster at all, only a cannon loaded with sunflower seeds. Every seed you fire kicks the pod in the opposite direction, so to fly up you tap below the ship, to slide sideways you shoot the other way, and to stop you fire straight ahead. Cross twenty-four asteroid fields, pick up seed sacks, rescue friends floating in bubbles and dock at the space station at the top.
Every shot is a choice. Breaking a rock in front of you also slows you down, big rocks take four hits and split in two, ice crystals cannot be broken at all, and grumpy spiky mines blow up everything around them, including you if you are too close. The dock only catches a pod that arrives slowly, and your air and seeds both run out. Keep all three hearts to earn three stars.
