  1. Clays launch from the high house on the left and the low house on the right after the PULL call. Tap anywhere in the sky to fire at that spot.
  2. The shot needs a fraction of a second to get there, so the clay keeps flying: tap where the clay will be, a little ahead along its path. You have two shells per throw.
  3. Some throws are doubles, with one clay from each house at once. When you miss, a faint ghost shows where the clay really was when your shot arrived, with a dashed line from your aim, so you can see whether to lead more or less.
  4. The first station draws the lead point for you. Break 60% of the clays to clear a station, 80% for two stars and 92% for three.
  5. Later stations bring faster clays, more doubles and smaller clays.

About the game

Skeet Lead is a light take on skeet shooting, the outdoor sport where clay discs are thrown from two little houses across a field and shooters try to break them in the air. Here a loyal dog keeps you company at the station, the high house sits on the left and the low house on the right, and every throw starts with a PULL call.

The whole game is about one real skill that beginners always miss: leading the target. A shot is not instant. By the time it reaches the clay, the clay has moved on, so the right place to aim is a patch of empty sky in front of it, and the faster and more crossing the clay, the bigger that gap. To make the skill learnable, every miss leaves a ghost of the clay at the moment your shot arrived, linked to where you aimed by a dashed line. A few throws in, you start to feel the distance instead of guessing it. Fifteen stations bring faster throws, doubles where both houses fire at once and you only have two shells, and smaller clays near the end.
