Beat Bridge
A rhythm hopping game over a dark chasm. Planks light up only on the beat, so tap to hop and land exactly as the next one appears. Purple planks come between the beats, so some hops must be off the beat. Cross every song's bridge without running out of hearts.

TapKeyboardSpace- Tap anywhere (or press Space) to make the frog hop to the next plank. Every hop takes half a beat, so tap half a beat before the plank's moment and you land just as it lights up.
- Upcoming planks are shown as dashed outlines with a ring that shrinks to the moment they appear. Blue planks are on the beat; purple planks are syncopated and appear halfway between beats, and later songs have quick pairs of planks half a beat apart.
- Landing too early or too late is a fall, and a lit plank fades a little after its beat, so you cannot wait on it. A fall costs one of three hearts and puts you on a later plank.
- Listen to the metronome ticks. Cross with no falls for three stars, one fall for two, two falls for one.
About the game
Beat Bridge is a one-button rhythm game about a frog crossing a deep purple chasm on a bridge that only exists in time with the music. Each plank flashes into being on its beat and fades soon after, so the only way across is to keep hopping in rhythm, landing on every plank at the very moment it appears.
The trick is that the frog's hop always takes half a beat. To land on the beat, you have to jump halfway between beats, which feels strange for a moment and then turns into a steady groove. Dashed outlines and shrinking rings show where and when the next planks will light up, and a metronome keeps the count. Then the songs start to play with you. Purple planks are syncopated: they appear between the main beats, so the hop before them lands on the off-beat and the rhythm suddenly skips. Later songs add quick pairs of planks half a beat apart, faster tempos and longer bridges. Every landing is judged as perfect or good, and three hearts give you a little room for mistakes. Fifteen songs run from a gentle 84 beats per minute to a brisk 132.
