About the game
Beat Dodge is a rhythm survival game. Each of its three songs is written alongside a script of attacks, and every one of them hits exactly on a beat: circles blast open, lasers fire across rows and columns, bullets spray from the edges, and walls sweep across the whole arena. Each attack flashes a warning a beat or two ahead, so you can read the song and slide into the safe space.
The twist is the dash. Tap to dash in the direction you're moving. Dash right on the beat and you're untouchable for a split second, which is the only way past a full-width wall. Dash off the beat and it's just a quick hop with a cooldown. A shrinking ring around your square counts down each beat. You have three hits per song, and finishing with none spare earns fewer stars.
