About the game
Calc Solitaire is Calculation, a classic patience that rewards planning more than luck. Four foundation piles start with an ace, a two, a three and a four, and each one counts upward by its own step: the first by ones, the second by twos, the third by threes and the fourth by fours, wrapping around after the king until every pile ends on a king. You turn the deck one card at a time and either play the card onto a foundation that wants it or park it on one of four waste piles. Suits never matter, only the arithmetic.
The twist is the waste piles. They can only be played from the top, so every card you park buries the one under it, and a card buried under the wrong neighbour can lock up a whole foundation. The skill is to stack each pile so that cards wanted later sit underneath and cards wanted sooner sit on top. To help, each foundation shows the rank it needs next and every top card wears a small number telling you how far away it is from being wanted. Twenty-four deals, all checked to be winnable, run from forgiving to tough, and undo is unlimited. Stars come from finishing with few undos.
