About the game
Cell Evolve starts you as a speck in the primordial soup. Swim toward your finger, gobble the floating green bits and any microbe smaller than you, and steer clear of the hunters marked with a red exclamation mark. Reach the target size before the timer runs out to evolve into the next stage, through five ages from the warm soup to the deep vents and the open ocean.
Everything you eat gives DNA, and between stages the evolution lab turns it into new traits, each with three levels. Flagella tails make you faster, spikes hurt anything that bites you, armour plates soften attacks, a wider mouth lets you eat bigger prey, chloroplasts feed you from sunlight and eyespots point toward food and danger off-screen. Every trait visibly changes your cell, and later hunters grow spikes and armour too.
