About the game
Rocket Stages is a build-and-fly rocket game. Each mission gives you a budget and a goal, from a short hop over the clouds to reaching orbit or escaping the planet. Stack fuel tanks, pick from three engines, add fins and decouplers, then launch and fly it yourself: steer with the arrows, cut the engines, and drop empty stages as you climb.
The twist is fins versus drag. Low down the air is thick, and a rocket without fins wobbles and tears apart if it flies sideways. Fins keep it straight, but they add weight and drag all the way up. The clever design puts fins on a first stage you throw away later, with an efficient vacuum engine waiting on top. Fifteen missions each award stars for success and for building under a cheaper target cost.
