About the game
Burrow Gold is a cave chase puzzle. Digby, a mole with a miner's lamp, runs across brick floors, climbs ladders and swings along ropes to collect every gold nugget in the level. Clockwork beetles hunt him down, but Digby has a trick: he can dig the brick just below and to the side, opening a hole. Beetles that walk into a hole are stuck for a moment, and Digby can run right over their heads. Some gold is sealed in chambers that you can only reach by digging through a floor.
The catch is time. Every hole refills after a few seconds, and a ring around it shows how long is left. A beetle still inside when it closes is crushed and pops back at the top, but if Digby is inside, the try is over. Later caves close holes faster and send more beetles, so the fun is in planning a route you can dig and pass before the bricks return. When all the gold is yours, an exit ladder appears at the top.
