About the game
Ice Slide is a calm sliding puzzle with a penguin who cannot brake. Pick a direction and off you go, gliding until a rock, a soft snow patch, an ice block or the edge of the pond stops you. The trick is finding the chain of slides that ends on the flag, and the stars reward finding it in as few moves as possible.
What makes these ponds different is the cracked ice. Every time you or a pushed block slide off a cracked tile it wears down, from two dots to one, and then it breaks into open water. A route that worked on the way in may be gone on the way back, and falling through ends the run. Ice blocks help: shove one into a hole and it freezes into a new bridge. Undo is free, a hint shows the next good slide, and 25 ponds grow from tiny warm-ups to wide maze-like lakes.
