About the game
Killer Sudoku mixes sudoku with simple sums. Every row, column and 3×3 box still holds 1 to 9 once, but the grid is also split into dashed cages, and the digits in each cage must add up to the small total in its corner without repeating. The first levels give you plenty of printed digits. Later boards hand you nothing but the cage totals.
Select a cell and the combo bar under the board lists every set of digits that can still fill its cage, so a two-cell cage of 17 shows just 8 and 9. The hint names its step, from cage sums and the rule of 45 to classic sudoku techniques. There are thirty-six puzzles, each with one solution reachable by logic.
