About the game

Kurotto is a shading puzzle with counting circles. Circled cells always stay white. Every other cell can be shaded or left empty, and shaded cells that touch side by side form a group. A circled number tells you the total size of all the groups touching that circle, adding each touching group once. A zero means nothing around it may be shaded at all, and empty cells without a circle have no rule of their own.

The twist is a live counter around every circle. As you shade, its ring fills toward the number, turns green when the total is exactly right and red the moment it goes over or can no longer be reached. Thirty puzzles run from 5x5 to 8x8, each with exactly one answer. The first ones fall out cell by cell, later ones ask for a short trial.
